The MOM signature work permit has several key features which include not having a minimum salary requirement; the employer has to sponsor the foreign nationals employed under the permit and is responsible for their stay and well being in Singapore; the pass is issued for 2 years but subject to the duration of the passport; can be renewed for 2 years at a time for 10 years; pass holders cannot bring their spouse and children to live with them.
Other features include that there is quota system in each industry and the employers cannot employ more than the specified number of foreign nationals.
